With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCMDO0016C1, safety applications can be easily configured and the system can be flexibly expanded with modules according to the application. This expansion module has 16 semiconductor outputs for diagnostic messages. These outputs can also be used as safety outputs up to PL c, Cat 1, SIL1. The backplane bus connector required for connection to the internal bus is included in the packaging. The module has removable screw terminals. This expansion module can be used with all CPU versions.
