XPSBAC safety relays are used to monitor emergency stop circuits in accordance with ISO 13850 and IEC 60204-1 standards, and also meet the safety requirements for electrical monitoring of switches in safety guards in accordance with ISO 14119. They protect both the machine operator and the machine by immediately stopping the hazardous motion when the operator issues a stop command or when a fault is detected in the safety circuit itself. The relay has 4 normally open safety outputs and a serial or parallel hardwired normally closed output for reporting to the PLC. The safety functions are predefined. The safety devices to be monitored are connected into the supply circuit of the safety relay. Five front LEDs provide information on the status of the monitoring circuit.
