The air measuring technique based on the principle of the congestion pressure measurement. Where ever a dynamic pressure can be built up, this measurement principle is applicable.Regardless of the material:
Basically all materials can be scanned which allow a dynamic pressure. The PEL system operates independently of color, transparency, surface finish on metal, plastics, rubber, paper, foils and cork. The PEL system is a non-contact measurement system. A jet of air with low force acts on the object which creates a back pressure. This pressure (-6 to 10 g) is then implemented by the PEL sensors into an analogue or digital signal.
Insensitive to environmental influences:
A particular strength is the insensitivity to the environment. The PEL system works nuclear under hardest environmental conditions such as dust, oil, coolant, vibrations, high temperature, electromagnetic interference, reliably and without interference. The measuring nozzles and the measuring surface be cleaned regularly by the escaping air.
Precision to measure:
The repeatability of the sensors is 0, 2?m over several years. The smallest nozzle in the PEL program has an external diameter of 1.2 mm and thus be placed on the narrowest points. The measurement and tactile switching distances are between 0 + 3 mm depending on the application and request accuracy.
