The LU series vertical liquid column pressure gauges designed and manufactured by Kimo Instruments are mainly used to measure pressure variations, negative pressure or differential pressure of air or gas within measuring ranges that vary depending on the type of measuring liquid used: AWS 10 or VOLT 1S. In a liquid pressure gauge, the pressure is indicated by moving a column of liquid. For this purpose, a measuring column is filled up to about half with the measuring liquid. If there is then a pressure difference between the two connections, the liquid column shifts to the side with the lower pressure. The difference in level is the measure of the pressure difference.
