The EX-28A Convergence sensor of the EX-20 series from Panasonic Industry offers a high range despite its miniature size. This sensor can therefore also be used on wide conveyor belts, for example. The emission range of a point light source is smaller than that of a wide, conventional LED light source. This produces a powerful beam that is tapered downwards. Since a red LED point light source is used, the red light spot is clearly visible even at long distances and alignment and confirmation of the detection position is easy.
