Information about the product

The PyroEpsilon is a simple infrared temperature sensor with externally adjustable emissivity. The series is ideal when the target is partially reflective. The emissivity is adjusted via a 4-20mA input and can thus be continuously adjusted with an external source, such as a PLC control or a controller. The optional PyroTune emissivity controller is available for manual emissivity adjustment. If no 4-20mA input is available, the emissivity setting is reset to 0.95, making the sensor suitable for measuring non-reflective non-metallic materials (or painted metals).
