The miniature laser sensor XUM5ALAYL2 is part of the XUM range, a Telemecanique sensors's offer of photoelectric sensors. This laser sensor in diffuse mode presents adjustable distance sensitivity, NO/NC function, PNP/NPN output, and other functions through IO-Link communication. It works with a 12V to 24V DC power supply, with a limit between 10V to 30V DC protected against reverse polarity. Our sensors offer pinpoint accuracy in detection, even for the most intricate object or mark detection at a sensing distance of 250mm. These sensors are built to withstand severe packaging environments with IP67 and IP69K degree protection. They are Ecolab-certified for packaging and food and beverage applications, guaranteeing long-lasting performance. Equipped with a teach button and a visible HMI featuring bright LEDs, our sensors offer user-friendly setup and monitoring, simplifying your packaging operations. This photocell features a miniature and robust housing. The casing is made of plastic (ABS) and the lens is made of PMMA. Its dimensions are 12mm (width) x 20mm (depth) x 30.4mm (height) and weighs 0.045kg. It is ideal for small object detection or contrast marks detection on Packaging applications, Food and beverage, Conveying, Assembly and Electronic industries. This sensor is certified by CE, cULus and UKCA. It uses a 2m-long cable with 4 wires. This sensor is sold in a cardboard packaging, without accessories nor cables. A teach button or an input wire (White) helps to configure the sensing distance and the output function. IO-Link communication allows additional setting functions. This laser sensor is a direct reflection system used to detect object or contrast marks without reflectors or other devices. This sensor is part of a complete range of laser-based sensors implementing various detection modes such as background suppression, diffuse, reflex, and measurement modes.CAD Data
